China is champion of the solar energy industry, Abdullah Al Hashimi, chief operating officer of Dubai Ports World’s parks and free zones, said in a recent interview with CGTN reporter Zhu Zhu. He noted that one-third of global investment in solar energy research and development is conducted by Chinese companies.
